Today was going to be the hardest day of the trip. Our adventure had come to an end. Today we would be flying back to Buenos Aires where we would get on our flight back to Apex. We all had to get up at 6 a.m. to make sure we caught our flight. It was very hard for all of us to get up in the morning, especially Mason. Ryan and I ended up dragging Mason out of bed. We packed up everything and went down to the lobby. Our flight was at 8:45 a.m. but, because of breakfast and security, we made sure to wake up early. We made sure to take our time eating our breakfast because this would be the last meal in Nequean. We checked out of our hotel and decided to walk to the airport because it was only ten minutes. Ryan was so depressed because we were leaving Argentina today. He looked like he was going to cry the whole walk. We made it to the airport, checked in and got our tickets, and made it through security pretty fast. It took us almost 30 minutes to find our boarding gate because we couldn't understand anything. We made it just in time to board the plane, but almost missed it. It was an hour and forty five minute flight so we didn't have much time to sleep. Before I knew it, we were unloading the flight. It was 10:15 a.m. in Buenos Aires and our flight back to Apex was at 6 p.m. so we had a lot of time to kill. All of us were hungry when we got off the plane so we decided to eat. We went back to the McDonald's that we had on the second day of the trip. That day felt like a year ago. It was some good food but we were all very sad. We were all deprived of sleep so we decided to all take naps on our layover. We woke back up at 5 p.m. which was an hour before our flight. We found our boarding gate and got on the plane. We would be landing in Toronto at 8 a.m. and then flying back to Raleigh. A little ways through the flight, the pilot came on the intercom and said we had just left Argentina. That was the end of our journey in Argentina but we still had to make it home. I wasn't that tired but still ended up falling asleep along with everyone else because there was nothing else to do.
