I woke up the first out of all of us. It was 5 a.m. and we were still in the air. We knew that today was going to be so sad because we were no longer in the best place on earth. We had the best time of our lives in Argentina and for sure are going back again in our future. All the Argentinian culture and all of the fun activities they have in Argentina are amazing. We learned about tango, fly fishing, Argentinian botany, and some important history of Argentina. Argentina is a beautiful country and we were sadly leaving it. This experience was amazing and the sights we saw were unforgettable. James (who was sitting next to me) woke up and asked what time it was.
I pulled out my phone and looked at it. "5:07," I said. "Dang bro its early as heck!" James replied. I nodded and looked out the window. We were over the ocean at this point but I didn't know which part of the ocean. Ryan leaned in between me and James' seat and said "Yo! What's goin on up here?" James and I exchanged glances and simultaneously smacked Ryan in the face. "YoOOOOoooOOO! That hurt!" Ryan called out. The people around us gave us dirty looks because we were so obnoxious. Mason woke up and flicked us off for waking him up. A few other people did the same. The rest of the plane ride would be very awkward. The flight attendant walked up and asked if we needed anything. I got a water, James got Skittles and Ryan got a Coke. Mason had fallen back asleep. We arrived at 8:00 a.m. and left the plane and went to the next boarding area since we had one more flight. When we got on the next plane at 9:30 a.m., Mason fell asleep. We got home two hours later and got off the plane at RDU. We arrived home at 12:00 p.m. We got to the luggage area and Mason saw his mom and dad. "MASOOONNN!!!!" his mom shouted and sprinted over to give him a hug. "Chill mom its only been 2 weeks!" Mason blurted. You could tell Mason was pissed. He went home with them. Ryan, James and I got a cab. He dropped Ryan off first. We helped him get his luggage out of the car and then we left. James and I live in the same cul-de-sac so we got dropped off last. I helped James with all of his dirty clothes then he helped me with mine. Mason texted our group message and said that he had gotten home safe and he had a fun time. Ryan replied with a simple "k" and James said "no one cares Mason" so that ended that conversation.
The time we had in Argentina was truly amazing. Argentina has the worlds largest consumption rate of steak which is amazing because of how great steak is. (Logos) The steak in Argentina is amazing and really stayed with me for several days. Any other steak I have eaten since then is subpar. I thought I had good steak in Disney World, but that steak was amateur compared to Argentina steak. If you don't like steak, the Argentinian people have great Dulce de Leche which is a rich creamy dessert that is loosely translated to "milk jam" which was one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. Tons of people believe the Patagonia mountain range is one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world and have come from afar to see the mountains, so you should too! (bandwagon) The mountains in Patagonia are like you stepped on a pebble and crushed it and then made the crushed pieces a million times bigger. (imagery) The Argentinian people are amazing and so is the country. You should go to Argentina and experience the amazing landscape, food, people, and architecture.
