August 8, 2018 (John)

We woke up in our hotel to the sound of James listening to Katy Perry. He was listening to Dark Horse and Ryan was secretly singing along in his bed. Mason and I were very confused and James said, "Hey man its good music..." We all took showers and rolled out.  We decided to go the Volcan Domuyo.  We got on the road around 8 a.m.  Volcan Domuyo was kinda far and no one fell asleep in the car.  We got in sight of the volcano.  It was amazing.  Even the roads we drove on to go to the volcano were amazing.  It truly was an amazing sight to see.  We got out of the car near the volcano and started walking.  The terrain was pretty crazy and Mason slipped on multiple rocks.  Ryan was naturally ahead of the group because he wanted to be the first to the summit.  It took us a while to figure out that the trip to the summit took a long time and when we did, we were disappointed.  Ryan nearly cried.  The people who told us were laughing because we didn't know.  James was the one who suggested the trip so naturally, we were mad at him.  Nevertheless, we still had time to go around the landscape and see the beautiful geography.  (Natural Enviorment) We weren't really following a trail, we were just kind of walking around the mountain range.  Ryan promised he knew his way back to the car.  It got around noon and we were hungry, so we got out our pre-packed lunches.  We had PB&J sandwiches with chips.  Since we went in winter, there was snow on the ground.  Mason bent over, picked some up and ate it.  "Dude this stuff is good,"  Mason said.  So James and Ryan started eating it too.  I didn't want to get some type of disease so I did not partake in eating the snow.  But I did shove a snowball down Mason's shirt.  Mason immediately started running in circles screaming.  We all started laughing hysterically.  Once Mason got it out of his shirt he started walking away.  James, Ryan, and I followed him.  He started shouting, "Guys OVER HERE!!!!"  When we came to him, we found three pools of water which looked to be steaming.  James stuck his foot in and his face lit up with excitement.  "Guys, these are hot springs!"  Ryan took off his shirt and jumped in.  The rest of us soon followed.  We were all super excited.  None of us had ever seen a hot springs in real life.  We all splashed around for about 10 minutes and then it settled down.  When we were in the hot spring a few fellow tourist came by and we told them about how it was a hot spring and they were super excited as well.  They got in the spring next to us and we talked about where we were from.  We talked for a while and then we decided to leave.  Ryan forgot the directions to the car so we were very lost.  We all started arguing, "This way!!!" "No this way!"  We eventually got on track and made our way towards the car.   We were all very tired from the hike but we had to get home.  So we left.  The sun was about to set so we started to hustle.  We got to a hill and I looked back and then I saw the volcano in the sunset.  It was one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen in my life.  We had stumbled onto one of the best volcano viewing sights in the entire park.  By the time we had finally had enough of the sunset it was almost completely dark.  Ryan was very confused as to where we were but he continued to look for the car.  It was 8 p.m. by the time we found the car.  We all argued about who had to drive.  We eventually made James drive us to the hotel and the rest of us fell asleep.   When we got back we all hopped out of the car and went to our room.  James immediately fell asleep and the rest of us followed soon after.
