Our alarm went off at 7:30 a.m. We hustled and managed to get out the door by 8:00 a.m. We made sure to pack a few bottles of water because we realized that we would be at the botanical gardens for a while. We got to the lobby and had our free breakfast, we might finally have gotten over our jet lag because we managed to get in the bus at 8:30 a.m. We took a ten minute bus ride to Supermercado DIA (Supermarket) and grabbed some food for lunch, which we would end up eating at the botanical gardens. We got sandwich supplies, chips, and Oreos. We then hopped on another bus for a 13 minute ride and finally made it to the botanical gardens. The gardens were magnificent and right in the middle of this huge city. It was a wonderful, calm garden and so amazing! We walked in and saw all of this crazy vegetation and explored the 18 acre gardens. We saw all sorts of things like the Cockspur Coral tree which is native to Argentina. (Natural Environment) We stopped to eat lunch right in front of a beautiful statue. We kept asking people what it was called but we couldn't find anyone who spoke English. We sat down and spread all our food out carefully crafting our sandwiches.

We took our time eating lunch admiring the beauty around us, and lunch was just what we needed to get our energy back. It got us up and moving so we could explore the rest of the gardens. As we started packing up, Ryan started running up to all of the statues and touching them and "admiring" them. He even waded through a pond to get to one of them,. We finished at about 4:30 p.m. and realized we still had some time to kill. We decided to take a 23 minute bus ride to the Plaza Lavalle Park and kicked a soccer ball I had in my backpack. We also messed around with a Frisbee I had brought. After about an hour and a half, it was almost 6:00 p.m., and we were starving, so we decided to head back to the hotel. After the ten minute bus ride back, we ordered a large Domino's pizza for all of us to share. When we were done, it was 7:30 p.m. We decided to settle down in the hotel and just chill for a while. James and I set out to get some ice for the room, and when we returned, we walked in on Ryan and John watching Dora the Explorer on Ryan's laptop each with a stuffed monkey in their hands. John ran into the bathroom, locked the door and stayed there for a solid 30 minutes while Ryan started crying out of embarrassment. At 9:00 p.m., we decided to call it a day and go to bed.
